2013

As a people I will love us to open our mouth and speak to HIM that Among the Gods there is none like Him. There is no name that is given in the heaven or on the earth that has any power that can control HIM. I know that without a shadow of doubt.

 

I don’t know about you and I don’t know the year has been to you. For some of us we are here because it is 31st and have to be in church, but I have to change that mindset quickly.

 

Once you are here I want you to think today means to you and that you want to renew your strength and step into another year not just to go along the same way but rather that the way you went over it in 2012, you will do much better and where you have faulted you will receive strength and overcome; where you are almost at the point of breaking out, you will break out and there is no other source of strength than our God.

 

There is no other source of strength than our God and I pray that you will identify yourself with the things that God will speak to us this evening that you will be able to identify that it is me that the LORD is talking to; and that it is not just an evening that I am here but it is an opportunity with God.

 

Let us go to Daniel 2. The Scripture recalls the account where the king have had a dream and had sought interpretation from the wise men and there was no interpretation coming forth from the whole of the land.

 

The people who were regarded as wise men were men who had skill and understanding about many of these things, but none of them could figure out what the dream the king had, much more to tell him what it meant.

 

In Daniel 2:13 the Bible says

 

 Dan 2:13  And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.

 

 I will just be speaking to us just as I humbly listen to HIM and draw from HIM. I trust that you will be praying along with me because HE has taken me on a path that I did not prepare for.

 

I hear the LORD say that A degree has gone forth.  And here when the Scripture talks about wise men, they looked for Daniel and his three friends and slain them as well because they were required by the titles that has been conferred on them to be people who should be in a position to explain what the king’s dream has been and what it meant.

 

A degree had gone forth that they should be slain because they have failed to bring forth the meaning of the dream.

 

And I hear the LORD say A degree has gone forth. I like us to look at what it took Daniel and his brethren for them not to be slain.

 

Verse14 – 17 says :

 

Dan 2:14  Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon: Dan 2:15  He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. Dan 2:16  Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. Dan 2:17  Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:

 

 Daniel and his brothers found themselves in a place that they have not been before and a degree is gone forth that they be slain.

 

Now you enter into 2013 and the first thing the LORD says to me this evening is that A degree is gone forth. Now when a degree goes forth, it means that there is a destruction that awaits the people.  How do you enter the year and the first thing you hear as you enter into a year is that destruction awaits.

 

But you realize that when Daniel heard this, he says that “why is this degree so hasty?” how can you pass a judgment over a people that people should be killed, that things should be cut off.

 

In our kind of environment or society for us to identify with this, I want you to look at whatever God has committed into your hands and whatever you are doing that if a degree is gone forth that whatever is committed into your hands is cut off or whatsoever goodness that God has bestow should be taken away from you?, you realize that that is what will bring you to the place where you will face uncertainties and shame and reproach and disgrace.

 

But then Daniel went to his brothers and it is one of the things that the LORD told me earlier on as I asked HIM what shall be the lot of my people and HE said to me that:

 

• it shall be with them that if they learn not to be alone, they will be able to overcome all things.

 

Please take note: Daniel no matter how much anointing was upon his life, he found himself going to back to his people narrating the issues to the guys.

 

Beloved if you enter into 2013 and choose to be an island, a storm will take you off. if you enter into 2013 and choose to be isolated, I go alone, I walk alone, you will be taken off, but if you enter into 2013 and decide tonight and say that how I have lived my life so far, if I have learned to put hand in hand then I am going to continue with that, but if I have not learnt to put hand in hand, I have been alone in my own corner, I face my own challenges all by myself and I have gone through them, take the Word of the LORD, a storm will take you off.

 

Decide tonight and say I am going to build a bond and I am going to learn to put a hand in hand and I am going to learn to put a hand in hand and I am going to learn to rely one on another and I am going to build that bond to face the year ahead.

 

Now what that means is it is important for you and for me to learn to bond. Remember the Scripture says Daniel went into his house and found his brethren.

 

Whosoever you decide to join your hand in hand with, it is important and critical as we go into this year. Don’t just decide and say I need a prayer partner or big time gossip or big time liar of a sort and all that and convince yourself that I have a partner, a storm will rip you apart.

 

 

I want us to pray:

 

• That I want you to commit yourself to God and say LORD you are at work in me both to will and to do according to your good pleasure. I yield myself to you that your will for me in the year 2013 that I will not be alone and be carried away by any storm. Let bonds be built in my life.

 

• Pray that you will escape every degree that has gone forth for the year 2013. Align yourself with God. Let the LORD lift you above any degree that has gone forth.

 

• Theme for 2013 is 1Cor. 9: 24-27. verse 24 is actually the theme for the year.

 

1Co 9:21  To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 1Co 9:22  To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 1Co 9:23  And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. 1Co 9:24  Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 1Co 9:25  And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 1Co 9:26  I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 1Co 9:27  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

 

Wherever you find yourself I want you to be the one that will receive the prize.

 

• In 2013 there are two things that are going to pre-occupy us as a Church or an Assembly. The first one is that we are going to do a lot of outreach and secondly we are going to build our own place and move out of present location.

  

 

1Co 9:24  Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. – this is our theme.

 

Now if you want to run to obtain, it requires you to run properly; you should run in a manner that you will not be disqualified; you should run in a manner that you are running better than the people who are with you, but in this year we are going to run as a church and as a people in a way that we will obtain.

 

I have told you two things are going to pre-occupy us in 2013 and we are going to do it in a proper way that God would direct us to do it so that we may obtain.

 

• Pray that the LORD God will open you eyes to see how you ought to run

 

How are you supposed to run to obtain?

 

• Position yourself rightly

• Do that which God will require of you

• Stay on that track

 

In 2013, the heavens are waiting for you and I to reach out and to able to do a lot more.

 

In 2013, We are to believe God for the impossible. It is not enough to sit there and say ‘Gods own time”. We need to change that.

 

Step into 2013 by knowing that you have aligned yourself to say that you are doing nothing else but what the LORD will have you do.

 

In 2013 pray and empty yourself of any kind of fear; purge yourself of any kind of fear

 

Pray and receive courage from the LORD like Joshua for the year 2013

 

Receive strength for 2013 that you will not be hindered. Pray and receive strength to overcome everything that has been assigned to hinder you.

 

I see many people stuck in mud trying to move their legs and they cannot move it. They are stuck in mud, they are stuck in one place for many, many years. Receive strength and move from there. Go forward, move forward, somebody break out, somebody be lifted up. Step into the place he has ordained for you

 

There is a time of visitation. That in 2013 you will not miss it. You will be where God wants you to be. You will be at the right place, you will not miss it. Receive the ability to be on time.

 

Embrace the LORD’s Anointing to enter into 2013 and through out the year. The Anointing you have received, you cannot be limited. In 2013 you cannot be limited.

 

As you enter 2013, pray that the gates of wisdom, gates of wealth, gates of favour, gates of understanding, gates of providence, gates of recognition be opened unto you.

 

Say these:

 

For as the snow come down from heaven and does not return but waters the earth and makes it bring forth and buds, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall the Word of God that has gone forth out of His mouth will not return unto Him void, but it shall accomplish that which HE has sent it forth to accomplish in my life and it shall prosper in the days that He has sent it.

 

I will go out with joy and I am led forth with peace, the mountains and the hills shall break forth before me. Every situation, everything with a name shall break forth before me into singing, and of the trees of the field, and every animal, shall clap their hands, Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off in the year 2013. Every thing that God has ordained to me shall yield unto me. I step into the year victorious, triumphant and full of joy. Amen
